Or ideally the Italian interest in Beto firms up. A new contract for DCL should be a major priority, losing him would be a big risk but I guess Adebayo would be a potential replacement.

Adebayo wouldn’t be cheap and I can’t see any way we spend money on a third striker without a sale of Beto and DCL. All three would be of similar age so not even succession planning. We do ideally want to get Chermiti out on loan so a better solution is probably a low cost third striker who could maybe offer alternatives at the ten slot so Adams would still make sense, or just use Maupay as such.

I would have to see other options first.
If you're skint you don't spend limited money and loans on bad players. That's just dumb.
