On the basis that they have 3 Strikers Kane, Llorente and Janssen who last I heard was injured and didnt have a squad number.

They are trying to dump Janseen. Unless they buy a striker, Llorente is going nowhere. Frankly, as much as I'd love an aerial presence, they have to be better than Llorente at this point.

No I asked you for stats mate, don't worry if you can't back it up, I asked if the Spuds turn to Llorente in the PL as Kane's back up, I can't see it so to say Levy would want 50m for him doesn't add up... Either way, I just wanted to put an idea out there, after a couple of cheeky beers, without being shot down... And I'm presuming we've all had a few if we're on here at this time of night!

1 goal in 20 appearances.

Thats the only stat that matters.

Think Son would be Spurs striker if Kane wasn't playing (as was the case in the Carabao Cup vs. Arsenal last month). Regardless, Llorente isn't the answer for me - would prefer sticking with what we have in January and taking the time do identify and sign a top target in the Summer over panicking in January and ending up with Tosun 2.0
