Everton should take advantage of Rangers...

Not like Davey Weir mate?

I found his air of entitlement when he was first talked of for a post as coach at Everton nauseating. Just who the fcuk did/does he think he is that he thought it was his job to walk into?

That's at the heart of what's wriong at Everton, by the way: taking on freeloaders and hangers on rather than people known to be able to do a job. It runs right through this club now under the Kenwright/Moyes axis. Things have gone horribly wrong and the day cant come quick enough that we sweep them and their way of operating out of the club.

Its what a lot of clubs do though isn it, keeping on ex players and fit them into roles - take Di Matteo at chelsea. I think Stubbs and Weir made careers for themselves based on endevour, attitude, work application and applying it to their limited talent - i guess thats not a bad thing to have in and around the rezzies and youth team.

Time will tell though. God to see Sheeds in and around the place though it has to be said.

You need to go back and read some of the stuff Weir was coming out with. For someone with fcuk all coaching experience he was making a big deal of himself.

The larger point is that we've ossified as an organisation. It's all looking a bit last days of Walter Smith to me.

The final few years of Moyes career at Everton will be vey dark ones, imo.

Fair point off the pitch mate that happened a long time ago, but there was a bit of an evolution of the pitch in the final months of the season in how we played - which is really the nuts and bolts.

Im like you - i rate Jelavic, but im not expecting the same ratio as last season - this. That said if it proves that he and Naismith can be top PL players - ill say fair play to Davey, prob worth more to us then having Pep manageing the U19s.
