The day before I was born we beat Sheff. Utd away 5-2 (Parker(2),Wainwright (2),Eglington)
3 days after my birth we beat Arsenal at home 1-0 (Eglington)

I was born the 12th April 1980 my Dad was just about to leave the house with my Grandad to go to the FA Cup Semi Final v West Ham and my Mum went into labour! Dad was fuming because he could have gone the game as I wasn't born until 9 at night!

...similar era to me, Kev. Funny that I was at a lot of the games being quoted on here. Mine was September 1956. 2 days before I was born we beat Burnley 1-0 at Goodison courtesy of a TE Jones pen. The day after I was born we lost 2-0 at Luton.
