I recall him coming close with a lovely volley in one of his sub appearences last season, i think it was against Arsenal but not sure.

Sky Sports understands top Everton prospect Conor McAleny is set to sign a new long-term deal with the Premier League club.

McAleny's current deal expired this summer, and a number of clubs including Southampton and Derby had expressed an interest, but Everton are now set to tie him down to a new long-term contract.

is this some kind of a joke?

so technically he is now a free agent, and we are negotiating with him AFTER his contact expired?

ridiculous, didn't we learn anything from Gosling saga?

If he walked we would get compensation - but even so, get your point. They probably shook hands on a deal a few months ago though :unsure:

thats the link i was trying to post the sky sports one.

with vellios and anichiebie (cross between nigel clough and heskey) not cutting as of yet , would like to see more of this lad to be honest this season.
