redshite are much bigger globally, just don’t get it though... must be the media always praising them and that song which provides a couple of mins of atmosphere
 
Celtic probably know that if they sell him to us for 25 million then they could be in for another sizeable payment should we then sell him on again

It's good business for everyone

We get a ready made Baines replacement and they guarantee themselves some money up front and reserve the chance to make even more if we get a crazy money offer down the line
 
Now that this is common knowledge I assume there is no chance we'll sign him. Pretty certain once it is obvious that Celtic are willing to sell he'll either end up at United (better than Shaw) or Spurs (better than Rose).

Rose is on the way down, Tierney is massively on his way up.

What with Rose openly coming out about his dislike for professional football etc, I wouldn't be surprised if Spurs are actively looking for a replacement.

We could have a left-hand side sorted for the next decade with him and Tierney. 50/60m for the pair? Including wages, we could easily generate that cash from sales of Klaassen, Sandro, Bolasie, Mori (I know already gone), Mirallas, Schneiderlin, Besic.

Pipe dream of course, as Sessegnon will stay in London, probably Spurs, but just imagine that.

Pretty much this, we are kind of the perfect club fir them to sell too in reality, he goes united, or any of the other teams above us, then there payout fir him is limited to the fee, he guess and fails, hell be sold for a kiss and no extra sell on fee there, he succeeds at a united or Chelsea etc, then he probably never moves on we until on the decline, like Rooney, do no payout again, he comes here for 25m and dies brilliant, then they'll end up getting another nice fee when we sold him on to a united etc...

Wouldn't shock me if this is pretty much a dine deal behind the scenes with just a sell on fee and clauses bring discussed now Mikey.
