A great read....
Thanks just bought that with my Birthday money from my son as I was 61 yesterday - I have quite a collection of Everton books some rare from my car boot days!

Signed copies of Graeme Sharp, Neville Southall, Howard Kendall and Dave Hickson's books.
Also got Andy Gray, Leon Osman, Joe Royle. Rooney's is in a cupboard somewhere too.

Want to get psycho pats and the duncan one's next.
Don't ever want Tim Howard's. If someone ever get's it for me for a present, they'll get it back. In their face. At high speed.
I went to buy tim Howards, but the shop assistant slipped it through his hands , and dropped it on his foot, said I could use it as a door stop!

I got Alan Stubbs one. It was OK. Made me laugh when he described the little all weather pitch at the back of the old burnden park as Bolton's academy.

Hey!
Happy belated birthday @Joey66 Power to the oldies.
I was 61 last August. I've had 8 addresses, countless cars, a dozen jobs, numerous relationships including 3 marriages, I've had 2 kids and 6 grandkids. I have ONE constant in my life, Everton FC.
We are the lucky ones, unlike many of the whippersnappers on here, we have witnessed the glory days. Hopefully the younger ones will get to know that feeling in the near future.

What I have...
Kevin Sheedy - not a bad book love that its called "so good I did it twice" signed.
Kevin Ratcliffe - "My memories of Everton" very good account of his time with us, signed.
Neville Southall - "Binman Chronicles" just like Nev pure class, signed.
Pat Van Den Hauwe - "Psycho Pat" Not bad, signed.
Graeme Sharp - "My Story" Not a bad book quite in depth enjoyed it more than I thought I would
Peter Reid - Read that years ago I think I read it more than once and really enjoyed it must read again as remember it being laugh out loud!
Wayne Rooney - meh

Ive just ordered the Dixie Dean book off of Amazon for £6 delivered, and also The Holy Trinity for a fiver just because its signed at the front by Kendall, Ball & Harvey (someone on Amazon doesn't realise what they just sold for £5!) I am going to look out for Tim Cahills next I think.

Ive also got some other books that aren't autobiographical:

The Everton Football Book 1969-70 Signed by Dixie Dean!!!
Everton Player by Player, By Ivan Pointing signed by Alex Young & Duncan McKenzie
Everton 'School of Science' Signed by Howard Kendall & Dave Hickson
Scally by Andy Nicholls

I also read Baz Rathbones 'smell of football' which was very good, Mark Ward's is a good story too. For me though the best account of a time at Everton was a double audio cassette by Andy Gray I think it was called 'Inside Goodison' I remember when I was growing up listening to it over and over again because it was so good. I would love to get a copy if anyone has it? Is it even possible to transfer to CD or MP3....?

I will report back on the Holy Trinity and the Dean book when read.
