In my close friend group, we all grew up North end of the City, many of us living off Walton / County Road. All born in 73/74 there are three blues and eight rs in the group.

I live in Anfield for my sins. When I was in secondary school in the mid to late 2000s the split was pretty much 50/50 from what I can remember. Within my friendship group, all the Everton fans are season ticket holders, go to as many away games as we can, whereas my Liverpool 'supporting' mates have probably been to Anfield less than 10 times our whole lives. I do know two STH's at Anfield who live in my street but that's about it.

On a side note, there's two of many murals they like to paint in my street itself. Was a good money maker as kid though, 'minding' cars for the out of towners even back then.

I caught the train to Kirkdale from Central this morning.

When the northbound four car train from Hunt’s Cross to Ormskirk pulled up I thought I wasn’t going to get on.

It was packed with southside Blues

That being said I grew up in Tuebrook so dunno where that leaves me.

It's funny you say that, most people would regard Tuebrook as North Liverpool - I mean it just is isn't it? But growing up in Anfield in the 70s/80s anything from Lower Breck Road downwards to Speke was South Liverpool to me.

I'm from Speke. My family and I are all match-going blues. It's not been an easy few decades, though!

Aside from the Royle and Moyes eras and the first season under Martinez, we've been desperately poor during the Prem years.
