Player Valuation: £60m
Everton boss David Moyes is being linked with a summer raid on Tottenham for midfielder Tom Huddlestone.Moyes has seen the likes of Tim Cahill and Mikel Arteta struggle with injury for spells this term and is set to bolster his options at the end of the season. http://adserver.adtech.de/?adlink|5...Id=2;itime=989830018;key=key1+key2+key3+key4; The Blues look set to secure Uefa Cup football given the fact they need just one point from their final game - at home against Newcastle on Sunday - which would be a big incentive for Huddlestone to head to Merseyside. Spurs look set for big changes in the summer a boss Juande Ramos further overhauls the squad inherited from Martin Jol and Huddlestone could be surplus to requirements. The central midfielder is rated in the £5m bracket which Everton would have no problem paying after another successful season.

Im not pearsonly a big fan of his. But i know peolpe rate him highly. What do you think?

£5 million?!?

Not a chance. Thankfully thats only from Clubcall.

They only paid upto £2.5m for him and he hasn't had much of an impact there.

I think hes a good player, would like him at Everton, but there are better players we could raid form tottenham

If Moyes could be him in shape he'd be an excellent player for us. Excellent at retaining possession and has the ability to pick a killer pass.

It wouldn't surprise me if we where looking at him. Moyes is looking for height in midfield and Huddlestone is 6ft 2.

I quite like him although no more than any of our midfielder but he has the height we are missing.

£5M is not too much we could afford it, but the fact he is not in the starting XI often enough, I don't think we should paid anything more than £4M for him.

I've said we should have a dive on him ,and 5mill is a snip He's big, young, can score goals, keep hold and pass the ball well.

He's got the attributes of Carsley but can actually play football and has a good footballing brain.

Out of all the Spurs players he's the only one I can see coming. The rest are all lar-dee-dar southern softies who wouldnt move out of London.

If we sign him I doubt he'll be brought in as the ball winner. Its just not his game. He doesn't have the mobility or defensive qualities to be Carsley replacement.

He's a deep lying play maker and the closest we have to him at the club is Manny Fernandes in terms of positional sense and style of play. If Huddlestone came in I could see him being Fernandes's replacement.

Personally I'd rather have Fernandes as he has more to his game but if we ended up with Huddlestone I wouldn't be disappointed. The lads a good footballer and under Moyes's training he could develop physically and loose the extra pounds he is carrying.

has huddleston got a 'long range reputation' as i went to wembley for the u21 game against italy, and every time he got the ball they were all shouting shoot, he was usually on the 1/2 way line at the time.

As I have mention before there is a player that would be a replacement of Carsley from Spurs and that would be Jamie O'Hara.

I would love to get O'Hara here but Huddlestone could be a squad player for us.

Hudlestone would be an excellent signing and a step in the right direction.
Another midfielder who is good on the ball and can pass.
he has played a couple of games at CB for spurs so i don't see why he can't play in the DM role.
