Stumbled on this thread whilst browsing Kipper (sorry for that). If you had to pick your three Everton players, who would they be?
I've gone for the players I've actually seen playing:

Everton Legend: Neville Southall

Everton Great: Peter Reid

Everton Hero: Tim Cahill (potentially becoming my Everton God)

I'll also go by people I've seen:

Everton Legend: Neville Southall

Everton Great: Dave Watson

Everton Heroes: Duncan Ferguson and Tim Cahill

I'm only 16 so I can't really go by what I've seen, but I'll go with what I have heard about the players....

Legend - Dixie Dean

Great - Alan Ball

Heroes - Duncan Ferguson & Tim Cahill

Everton Legend: Howie Kendall

Everton Great: Duncan Ferguson

Everton Hero: Arteta (Will be a legend in time)

 The same Duncan Ferguson who lost us numerous points when getting sent off. What a guy.

 Sorry, had to say it.

Everton Legend: Got to be Dixie.

Everton Great: Tim Cahill

Everton Hero: Kevin Campbell

Legend - Dixie Dean - One of the very few blues that is thought of as a legend throughout football, never mind an Everton legend

Great - Bob Latchford - 30 goals gave us something to shout about when things were very average

Hero - Any of the eleven in blue shirts on a saturday (unless we are playing Chelsea away!)

Azz - your signature is massive and it's got the word KOP in it (n)

From players I've seen,

Legend. Alan Ball. Genius and boyhood hero.

Great. Neville Southall. Best Keeper in the world at one point.

Hero. Duncan McKenzie. Just an entertainer, I loved watching him when he was in the mood.

From before my time,

Dixie Dean in for Duncan McKenzie.
