Option 1:
He signs for us effectively on a 6 month loan with a possible extension at the end of the term. We offer a lot less per month than Fulham.

Option2:
He signs a 2.5 yr deal with Fulham. They pay him a big signing on fee and offer him in the region if £120K a week, with a clause that he can go on a free if they get relegated.

if you’re the player and his agent then it’s a no brainier. You’d take Fulham every time. Say he got a serious injury after 4 months? With Fulham he’d have security for a further 2 years, with us he’s out on his arse, no wage and struggling to recover from serious injury.
