With this lot I’d seriously consider 4-4-2 until Allan is back with Digne on the left of MF in front of Godfrey, Iwobi in front of Holgate, Dacoure sitting in and letting Rodriguez pull the strings for DCL and Richy up front.

Don’t think we have the personnel to play anything more expansive than that with options available.

I was thinking about this against Newcastle. James dropped deep second half to get on the ball and we looked alright once we’d moved Sigurdsson out of there. For something reason we swapped back though. The other one is to have James on Godfrey’s flank and Richy up top with DCL. One of Allan or Doucoure can help James with the defensive side but with Godfrey behind him it would work well. We need to get Richarlison back up with DCL as he can’t seem to play wide anymore.
