Thats pretty good going. I wanted 3 players in this window so it takes a load off in summer.

Truffert and Alcaraz would be sublime and massively unexpected if both came in.

We'd have youth and quality starting and backup all down the left side.

LB: Truffert / Mykolenko
LCB: Branthwaite / Mykolenko
LW: Ndiaye / Watson

Id be well chuffed. To be greedy, Cherki on top with Mangala going back to Lyon and it would be close to perfect.

Cherki is a fabulous talent but carries alot of hangers on I believe.

Number 10, but can play anywhere across the attacking midfield areas. He's a massive talent but unfortunately he's one of the game's idiots from what I've seen reported.

Looking at figures available, we have 7 players on north of 80k everyone else on below 60k pw.

Doucoure, Pickford, Gueye, Harrison, Keane, DCL. Tarkowski.

I'm guessing Gueye will be offered a lower contract to stay on an extra year, and likely would accept it I think.
Pickford is well worth the salary and don't think there's any case if okdyers asking for a matching one due to his rep. Tarkowski was a free (kinda the same as Gueye) so a bigger than expected salary due to that.

The other four, Harrison is gone, same with DCL, same with Keane leaving just Doucoure on 125-130k pw as the teams anomaly wage wise.

I’ve actually heard of this kid, which inevitably means he’ll have bigger clubs than us in for him should he be available.

I understand the logic, I just think a deal will be done for Doucoure. He clearly enjoys himself here and Moyes keeps picking him. Maybe he'll agree to reduced terms.

Yup it will, I think we will add one player now that makes us all pretty happy.

There's obviously something to spend and looks like the loans are being sorted prior to anything permanent now.

Even from a negotiation point if we are trying to loan players the club wants to sell (hence options) and we lash out 25-30m on a player, those loans then become the club insisting on sales or adding a few million onto the options .

May be well off with this but just a sneaky feeling Moyes may have been playing to the gallery on Friday.

I'd try for Mcatee mate would transfer our front 4. Can play all across if needed too allowing Ndiaye to deputy for Beto if needed until injuries return. Go for the absolute best quality we can if we are going for one player now.

Summer you do the same one big signing and make it a striker, Ferguson if he shows he's back at West Ham or Delap are the two obvious standout options or Sumner (Delap especially if you got Mcatee this Jan)

Think with Moyes get the core spine of the team sorted as the priority then you add on the wide players
