Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

If Broja passed it - it's done & dusted then ...... :D

Playing it low key...he's let it be known we're hamstrung by PSR so teams will think twice about trying to drive the price up on us.

I'm watching interested to see the other teams, Newcastle I think this summer overspent after the PSR deadline or they are simply bleeding out on wages etc - looks like they are selling 20 odd million to not have the sane situation they had last June, ie get themselves inside PSR.
Spurs loo like they are finishing up there's as well bringing in bodies for depth, west ham similarly looks to be spending up as do villa.

City being linked heavily on bringing in a quality centre mid, if a certain player pops up available later on tomorrow on a few of the interested clubs may have already spent up by then....

I'm beginning to wonder if Moyes was faking his presser the other day now a bit...

Noticed post match when he slipped in the Fellaini comment he was smiling ...

What is evident is we are using the loan spots to give depth and competition with the eye on players still with potential.

Very interested to watch events over the next 30 odd hours though and wouldn't shock me if we did a later deal for decent money - getting the depth in spending nothing now in order for one good investment player at the death
We might see a surprise, but from the bits and pieces you read here and there it does seem like the summer seems to be the time we’ll be looking for big money moves.

Definitely think he was being coy to a certain degree but also managing expectations.

Only one player I really hope we don't miss out on and that's one a few miles up the road, get him in late on tomorrow with the other lads we seem to be adding and I'll be well chuffed.

Looked at that Vid Zac and it looked really ordinary, only watched half of it tbh, is he quick, skilfull it didn't really show to me, what do you make of him, what are his attributes ?

He's a VERY good all rounder.

Can put in all types of crosses, high level of technique, quick (not rapid). Just a very good player who can of course improve in all areas as hes only 23.

He's always been a left back but for last and this season has been used as a left wing back -- also moved all over the place as Rennes have, in tandem faltered.

Get him in, play him left back and he'll be in the French side within a season.

Mykolenko would be backup LB & LCB so id extend him as well.

Truffert fits the recruitment model - 23yo bit of a down season this one, can be loaned and bought for under 20m

Thats an incredible deal. Would be worth double after 6months in the premier league

I wouldn’t want to play poker with Moyes that’s for sure. The Alcaraz deal shows we have no idea what to expect between now and tomorrow night, which is good fun.

Baines or Digne, neither was rapid anyways, can get overly obsessed with pace at times cos it's exciting to see a burner

Not seen any of the videos posted, definitely the latest ones will not show him in the best light.

Agree, a rapid player is always nice to see but I'd rather a top quality all rounder than a pace merchant. That Antonee Robinson being mentioned as a £40-60mil player...Truffert im confident would be valued at that level if we get him in at left back.
