Interesting, trying to think of other clubs we have sold too, but not bought off.

Like Fulham, my memory doesnt let me think of anyone we bought, but we have sold them at least a few.

Was thinking Davies but we sold him there - got him from spurs I think, memory is failing too.

Difference is with Newcastle we sold them players we never should have - Speed was a travesty the way we treated him, Ferguson not as much but bad, Gordon was a little koppite rat.

I read somewhere that once these European games are done and clubs know where they stand regarding qualification, playoff games, elimination etc. it will trigger more movement of players at the end of the transfer window. We will see

I’ve had a chat with Kevin Thelwell and the new owners, and we’ve decided there isn’t any value in the market this window, so we’ll go with that we’ve got until the summer…

guarantee it will happen and I bet clubs probably don't like selling any decent player midseason. better to not have expectations.

Longstaff is a decent player, not quick but hard working, good passing range and a decent shot on him. Would work well with Gana.

But it’s forward players we really should be prioritising.
