Don't think they got £8M for James. The 8M figure being bandied about was to do with Al Rayan paying up to settle the remaining value of his contract. The same way we got him in a deal that was described as a free transfer and also a £12M deal.

If that bandied about figure is remotely accurate it's £0M + £8M wages.
