Is the Chilwell injury quite serious? If hes due back, I cant see sense in signing Digne.

Yes quite possibly. Not sure CHO would want to come and play for us/Benitez though.

Those deals are very good for FFP though. We sell Digne for 65m and buy CHO for 70m for example. Suddenly a lot of FFP problems wiped out.

I think that such a deal would be a poor one for the club. I'd rather straight cash. Would love CHO but just cant see it.

I think we have to address the Mina situation.

We can keep Mina but 18 months on his contract, his constant muscle injuries and a huge wage so we have some options:

1) Keep him, hopefully we keep him fit and he signs a new deal.

2) Look to sell in January or the Summer.

I think we need to choose option 2 and get them in ASAP:

We looked at Stoke's Harry Souttar but his injury has ruled him out but the perfect solution is Sven Botman at Lille.

21 years old, left footed and if we have any ambition we should be all over this. He would be a £30-40m signing which could be most of our budget but this lad is perfect for us.

Ideally, yes. But you can see that the cash will be tight and CM will be dealt with in the summer (hopefully).

For me, regardless of Keane's performance last night, CB is THE issue now.

CB we need a leader only Mina does that, the rest just don’t take control. Look back in day Watson, weir, Gough all leaders, Keane,Holgate,Godfrey are not.

Just had a look and he's on 7 mil euros per year, which is roughly 125k per week. So not as much as we initially thought.

Thing is salaries for football players tend to be announced net in Italy, so, you would have to add about 60% to that figure, if true, because in England players salaries are announced gross.
