Anyone hear Tony Bellew being interviewed about the Creed film just now?

He said one of the Producers wanted his character to be a Kopite but he told him if that was to be the case he was taking the next plane home as he couldn't bear the thought of it plus he would be betraying everyone he loved back home.

lol

Well in, Tony la' ;)

RESPECT !!

A producer wanted him to be a kopite? Don't think Stallone would've agreed to that, never mind Bellew.
Anyway, what about all the Goodison Park scenes? How would that have worked?

Went to see it the other night. Believe the hype, great film. Best Rocky movie since Rocky 3.

Not your typical Rocky or boxing movie either, there's a proper story and there's a shockingly low quota of cliched cheesy/corny stuff used.

Never thought I'd say this but Stallone was absolutely great in his role and I can see why he won a Golden Globe for his performance.

All the Bellew/Everton stuff is surreal yet great.

Once again Everton have a golden opportunity to promote their brand - if they can't capitalise on being heavily featured in a major Hollywood movie they never will.

Hearing Allez Allez Allez Oh as Creed and Rocky are in the tunnel about to come out is hilarious.

The first thing Everton should be doing is agreeing to stage a Bellew title fight at Goodison this summer. Coming off the back of the movie, it would sell itself and generate a decent amount of money. Life imitating art and all that.
