Player Valuation: £1m
The Everton squad have departed for America. The Toffees left London's Heathrow airport on Monday afternoon, bound for Seattle.
David Moyes and his side will train in the American city before travelling to Edmonton, Canada to face Argentine giants River Plate. The squad will then relocate to Salt Lake, in Utah, to begin preparations for the glamorous clash with the MLS All-Stars. Moyes has almost his entire squad with him, with only injured trio Victor Anichebe, Mikel Arteta and Phil Jagielka not among the travelling party. Joseph Yobo, Steven Pienaar and Jack Rodwell were reunited with their teammates on Merseyside before embarking on the journey, while Tim Howard will link up with the squad stateside. All four of those players were afforded an extra summer break on account of their international commitments at the end of last season. And Yakubu is also making the trip as he bids to step up his rehabilitation following his Achilles injury.

Travelling squad: Carlo Nash, Tim Howard, Tony Hibbert, Phil Neville, Leighton Baines, Joleon Lescott, Joseph Yobo, Seamus Coleman, Jack Rodwell, James Wallace, Jose Baxter, Jo, Leon Osman, Tim Cahill, Steven Pienaar, Louis Saha, Marouane Fellaini, Yakubu.

Does this mean he won't be doing any talking to City for the next few weeks? Can't do it over the phone surely.

Vaughan is listed?...

It surely also means we wont be signing anybody either. Great news, wonderful news, super news.

Wasn't it written somewhere that even though we're abroad, there's this thing called a phone and we will still be trying to sign players, and furthermore that it'd be no problem to fly them over to join up with the squad?
- Just hope they don't put them on one of them Ryanair standing flights!

Yes I read that, didnt believe it then and dont believe it now.

Moyes will be with the squad, so its unlikely any deals will be done.
It all seems very much like last summer, when we kept thinking we'd be signing players soon. Look what happened then

haha fair enough, I guess I'm just still a hopeful hopeless fool who thinks we will pull our finger out and get some signings done, I'd love that Elm, I don't care about falling for youtube videos but he looks boss on them
