News Of The World reports that Everton are in persuit of Lyons Attacking Midfielder Kim Kallstrom.

EVERTON have made Kim Kallstrom their No1 summer transfer target.

The Swedish midfielder, 25, has been tracked by a string of Premier League clubs during Lyon's Champions League campaign, which ended at Manchester United on Tuesday.

Goodison boss David Moyes is expecting to pay about £5million for tough guy Kallstrom.

Kallstrom can play on the left and in the centre. He has a good shot and some good skill, however lacks abit of pace.

Personally i think he would be a great signing if any of this is true (this is new of the world we are talking about here), but £5 million seems very cheap for a player of his quality, I'd expect £10 million +

heard he has a long battle with a persistent injury. solid left footer though, which is nice.

25 and a big lad, be nice to win a header in midfield again wont it.

Buy him. We need more skillful left footed youthful tough guys.
 

Potentialy a great signing he has a great shot on him. Would like Christian Poulsan at Sevilla as well but at 28 doesnt really fit into our squad profile.

He's a decent player but what is it about Swedes not working out to well at Everton?
