Ladies and Gents,
I was thinking during the week that this current squad, when fully fit, is the best ever since the start of the Premiership.
I was thinking that not too many areas could have been strengthened from past players. However, the names started coming!

We have had some great players....after they were great lol

Based purely on their form for us and being fully fit, this is the my best Premiership 11.
Just a bit of fun.

Neville - Jags - Lescott - Hinchcliffe
Kanchelskis - Arteta - Cahill - Pienaar
Yakubu - Dunc

Who have I missed out??? Who makes your team guys?

My bench would definatley include Gough, Watson (both!) Stuart, AJ.

I loved Limpar and Beardsley as players. Quality. I never thought we got enough from Anders though, Arsenal had his best years.
I tossed an imaginary coin on Baines and Hinchcliffe.
If Baines has a good season 2009/2010, he may well be my fave.
 

Limpar was world class on his day, a superiour player to Pienaar. Pienaar was certainly the more consistent and more reliable player though.

I'd also have Beardsley over Ferguson aswell, a far better player.
 
There was a time when I thought we had the best wingers in the division, better than Giggs and Beckham!
Limpar was indeed special.
Pienaars workrate got him into my team.

My mate has just asked what about Vinny Samways :blink:
