Everton at Anfield / the hold me thread

I can't remember looking forward to a derby less than this one.

I've written it off as a certain defeat in my own mind and have therefore accepted the disappointment before it's unfolded on the pitch.

I'm going to struggle to sit through it, fair play to those who are going, as I couldn't stomach being THERE tonight.

The lads going tonight must love punishment (everton)

This fraud has dragged our expectations lower than under Moyes

Only positive is from the week we all expect is that Martinez won't have a leg to stand on on Sunday. He should resign if we lose twice.

if Martinez is unable to lift the players for tonight I'm sure that would be a massive indicator as to what Moshiri will have in his plans for the Summer.

Simply put, he needs to galvanize the squad for the next two games.

On a different note, Im getting a bit sick of Evertonians revelling in the doom and gloom.

At Anfield last Thursday you only have to see what a bit of support can do.

Im not even worried about defeat...seen too many derbies when weve been garbage prior and yet still got a point. Que sera sera. Im more concerned with us avoiding more injuries with some of their lot looking to make their mark with the usual foulers like Henderson and Can being ruled out.

I'm sure Skrtel, Lucas, Sakho or that pug ugly mutant full back Flanagan, will fill those two's boots admirably tonight in that regard.
