Everton App showing different no. of tickets to online website?

Hi folks, another digital season ticket thread - sorry.

I'm trying to manage the transition to digital tickets for my very ill Dad, who has four season tickets - one for him, and three for family members including me. The plan was to make use of the Friends & Family network, so when I can't go to the game (I no longer live in Liverpool) he can transfer the ticket to someone else. I'm managing this remotely myself, as he struggles massively with operating a smartphone.

I've applied for him to have physical tickets, but unfortunately the club still haven't got back to me as to whether he can have a physical season ticket or not. I've also spent cumulatively 4 hours on the phone to the club and been hung up on twice whilst on hold, and now can't get through at all, so the panic has set in a bit.

I'm running into two issues: the first is that the fourth season tickets simply hasn't shown up at all in his online Everton account. It looks like there were two separate orders due to differences in tenure (3 season tickets had been there for 20 years, the 4th for about 7 years). He has an email showing that the four tickets can be downloaded into his Google Wallet, but only three show up in his Account Management section. The family member with the 4th ticket can't make the game, so he needs to transfer it to his Friends & Family network - except its not even showing up as a ticket that can be transferred at all. The only solution I can think of is for him to download the 4th ticket to his phone, use it to scan someone else in, and then go from there. However I know the club are taking a dim view of that if said person doesn't have a Forever Blue membership. Has anyone else ran into this issue of a season ticket not showing up at all under the Account Management section?

The second thing is that seemingly only his season ticket is showing up if he uses the app, and none of the other three?! So the app shows just his ticket, the website shows three tickets, and there are four tickets. I was hoping I might be able to download the app, and the app would pick up that I have the four tickets currently saved in the Google Wallet to my phone and sync up - but maybe a bit ambitious. Is this also other folks experience, or does the app show you the same number of tickets as the website?

Cheers for reading!

It’s very confusing so I can’t be sure but I think the app works on the assumption that each season ticket is allocated to a unique customer number and each customer number has a unique email address. Each person therefore has a separate login to the app and when they login with that specific email address it shows that specific season ticket. I’ve read of other people struggling when managing their children’s tickets. Assuming your dad has multiple customer numbers but the same email address on each account then I think the app will struggle.

In terms of the fourth ticket assuming that also shares the same email address as the other three and he did receive an email with the ticket to download then I’d suspect that the system could just not handle two separate orders and has not allocated it to his account. I’m sure the club could easily fix this issue (although not the app to handle multiple tickets) if you could get through to them…….

What doesn’t help is that as far as I can see there is no actual way of changing your own registered email address for an account other than ringing the club which is also not a very secure way of doing it……..

It tends to work better if every customer number has a unique email address even if you manage them all yourself.

I suppose the other option if you have all 4 tickets in your google wallet would be to transfer one of the 3 tickets that you can see to someone in your network and then just use the 4th one from your wallet to enter the stadium. As long as you remember what’s been transferred and what hasn’t you should be ok as each ticket will definitely only scan once.

Sorry to derail this thread with a different question, I can’t think where else to put it.
Keep hearing people mention this app.
Is the app a new thing?
Does the app offer things just using the website doesn’t when managing tickets in account etc?
I have always just used the website, is it recommended I use the app as well/ instead of?

Not new, no.

Not advocating either but I do use both.

I have noticed, on Android, two updates to the app recently. Today, I can see my Roma tickets, this i couldn't do previously.

So, might be worth loading the app to see what the state of play is, as Everton see it, re yourself.

Is the same log in credentials as the website?
Or do you have to register etc ?
