It seems that the lack of consistency with it is going to be it's biggest downfall.

It's always punishing undeserving clubs, even a winning goal ruled out was adjudged to be a mistake

If it is making mistakes then what value does it have?
 

Worked well at the euros when it was for the bare minimum but the way the prem is using it is way too complicated, it's a joke
 
Its only going to make things worse. Any contact is soon going to become a foul. People appealing for a red card then for holgate, 15 years ago its a yellow at most and the player gets up and gets on with it. Its not a great sport to watch in comparison to rugby or afl. I moved over to aus a few years ago and the locals take the piss out of football all the time and its entirely justified. Bunch of utter fanies made of glass.
