Everton and VAR

on what planet is that not a foul? he was pulled back. it was clear and obvious. VAR really has it out for us this year
If we look at it from a neutral POV, its not a pen though lets all be honest
Hes a grown man, he wasn't 'dragged' back, his shirt didntrip, it was a hand on a shirt and a little push to put him off

if that goes against us, we're all fuming.

Yes I have seen worse been given as penalties, 100% agree with that but for me its not a penalty

the worst about it is the ref probably doesn't give it because VAR exists thinking VAR will clear it up, but VAR wont give it because its not 'clear and obvious' enough to reverse a decision, utter shambles

Yet VAR has been giving offsides for armpits etc. Its been used for anything but clear and obvious, then we get something clear and obvious and thats when they decide to use it "properly".

We need our club to arrange a meeting with the referee manager and ask what the hell is going on because we're being treated like mugs with VAR. No penalties all season yet they give one vs us are Brighton for the most pathetic reason ever. We'd be in the European places if it was used properly.

It’s why players need to dive. If you don’t give decisions like that, you basically say “if you don’t go down, it’s not a foul”, therefore, it almost neccessitates diving...

He doesn't need to dive tbh, he needs to stay on his feet and try and score because he knows there's no guarantee we'll get it. He's not at arsenal anymore.

If he went down, it’s a pen. Hands down. No clue why it wasn’t in the first place. The rule should always be: “Any contact, no matter how small, go down”. The RS get loads through this method. We need to replicate it.

As shown by the foul on DCL there, he went down, gets the foul. And it’s less of a foul than Walcotts. Always dive
