Anyway, I suggest a ceasefire, until Monday, let us all put down our weapons and join as 1 as we hope and pray that tomorrow our team shows up and we claim victory against those tramps from Manchester, I hope you all join me for I will refrain from saying anything negative until at least Monday at 6pm.

Peace in our time.

The lynch mob are fuelled by home PL form only. How could that not be the case when away form is one of the PL's best and we progressed as well as we have in both cups.

I'd say they most certainly do have to make up their storyline to justify the witch hunt.

This is just pure hysteria being whipped up by certain posters who feel they need to strike while the iron's hot to get shut of this manager. Pure opportunism that will hopefully be rewarded by a kick in the balls to their plans.

So does the master plan mean we bulldoze GP and just play on the road ?

But this is merely to side step the point. The coach you believe should replace Martinez would only prove to be more proficient by utilizing the quality material he walks into the club and takes charge of - to use it in a more creative way. How else could your point about this squad being good enough, but the manager not, be confirmed?

In any case, it doesn't, in and of itself, explain why Martinez couldn't have the funds to do exactly what you feel needs doing. The only way to argue against it would be to explain how the players you talk of there (all either brought in or through by RM) were disenchanted by his management and ambition and that all evidence points away from Martinez being capable of using those funds well enough to both purchase good players and attain CL level points from them. You cant on both issues.
So now you are saying Martinez is not as good as Moyes, or he has spent poorly. As based on the above Martinez should b doing consistently better than Moyes did. 12th, 13th can't see it myself

1. We got 72 points then improved the squad. The improvement got 47 points and maybe not much more this season. Why is it unfair to expect it to be better or was 72 points a fluke.

2. See 1.
On the money and if we'd been anywhere near 72 points we would comfortably be top 4.
