Everton and Martinez are to blame should Lukaku leave

Through 29 games we have factually improved.

Sorry to disappoint you.
Way to set your ambitions high.
Look, we are on the improve..

Leicester

Of course we'd all like better, but the facts remain that we have improved through 29 games. 7 more points, 15 more goals scored, identical goals conceded...hell we already have scored more goals than we did all season and have matched our win total in all competitions for the entire season.
Why not mention a factual comparison from the day Roberto Martinez took over as Manager? As opposed to comparing this "improved" season to the nightmare he gave us last season only...making out he is improving us? Do a 105 game factual summation.

Because that is not the point I am making. I am simply stating the fact that we have improved over last year at the same point in the season. It is a fact and I actually don't think people realize it.

Fair enough. Let's not sidetrack this Lukaku thread anyway. Leave that conversation for Dave's thread.

I think people do realise it all right.

It has been frequently commented upon in thus parish.

But most of us are singularly underwhelmed by the fact our league stats are better today than they were a year ago.

It is a moderate improvement off've a very low base.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

We have one of the best strikers in Europe and your messiah has us 12th. Inconvenient fact for you right there.

To be fair, I think Duncan Ferguson was credited with the Lukaku improvement, sure it was rom himself who said that.
Also I believe that even though Romelu has 20+ goals this season, he should have a hell of a lot more, Sundays service to him was absolute dog crap on the bottom of a pair of new trainers on a hot summers day, did I mention the trainers are white too ? The man should be getting the Delboy type passes - through on goal or across the 6 yard box, instead he has it hoofed to him by robles or jags, we have no real drive from midfield which doesn't help either.

Right now though he sold his backside to anyone who would listen whilst on international duty so he is in my bad books right now.

i'd bite your hand off if that happened this season. i'd accept losing every last one of our league games this season if it meant we won our two FA Cup games.

we haven't won anything in over 20 years, there's more to football than just the league. 17th, a cup win and a cup semi-final is not exactly unacceptable considering the square root of feck all we've achieved since 1995.

Whilst I see were you are coming from, is this the low level of expectation we are now accepting ? Moyes was top 6 chase or be sacked, cup runs are also a must.

Now its finish 12-17th and a cup run would be nice...

People still say Martinez is better than Moyes lollollollollollollollollollollol
