See where you're coming from mate, but no. Hold out for more - actual goalscorers are like unicorns teeth, not a penny under £100m or he stays IMO.
If we let it drag on we run the risk of panic buying. No good having £100m to spend and only having 2 hours of deadline day to spend it.

Last time I checked Everton have said there is no agreement, so why are sky and BBC saying a fee has been agreed ?
That annoying Jim White, you have to admire his efforts.
"Everton agree a fee for Lukaku" he chirps, moments after the Sports bulletin on Sky News said the same.
But in an attempt to add some theatre to proceedings, he changes his tone of voice, hesitates slightly then pronounces that HE has been told by a senior Everton source, that no such deal has been agreed. He, and SSN are just entertainment, not news.
Seeing Hayley McQueen though makes up for my disdain at the whole set up.

The pressure is on them mate, we don't have to sell.
No, we dont, but at the same time, I wouldnt want a wantaway player disrupting the dressing room. I wouldnt want to waste £150k a week on letting him rot - that just denies any logic to me.

It's pretty much what happened with Bale, Spurs were saying £100m with Real offering around £80m and it dragged on until they settled at around £89m. We all know he's going so it just depends how we want to play it.

So if this is United playing sneaky snides in pushing a transfer through - How is this any different to what Liverpool did with Van Dijk?

Surely it's far more insidious and illegal even than that?!
Yes, that may well be, but if we want to create a bidding war, you don't want to remove one of the two bidders.

Rom saying "I know where I'm going" should have opened it all up. He can't possibly know that without being in conversation about it.
