Loved seeing Vellios and Straq upfront, would be a great partnership.

Vellios had a few bad touches to begin with, but you could see his desire, and he changed his game around within about 2 minutes, which is great to see.

Feel really sorry for Bily, because i thought yesterday he looked up for it, you saw him running at players, passing and moving, getting his skill on and that, a couple of bad crosses though and the fans get on his back! No need seriously, and that was just on the left, PLAY HIM CENTRAL. Anyone who saw him the other day should see his potential with a run of games and abit of CONFIDENCE. (He's a confidence player obvs...), really hope he carries on getting games

Happy with Cahill and Osman upfront once again, but i liked the change when the subs came on. Erm...Happy that Hibbo played again, and i hope it continues, and to be honest, the team that played yesterday id like to see most games, maybe with Barkley in place of Fellaini or Rodwell occasionally, and maybe an actual striker for a change.

Also just to add, my hatred of Drenthe has started.

Had Vellios as last goal scorer, set to win £40, but no, Drenthe had to go score.

We started well, but the lethargy of wigan took it's toll and the boys thought it was all too easy to get the ball back and stopped trying to a degree, the first goal by wigan got them fired up a bit. Over all I think it was a very boring game, but it is expected when wigan had 10 men behind the ball. There wasn't a great deal of creativity, osman tried a bit to be creative, but after a few games I think he will get too tired and his creativeness will wear thin and will be back to the old osman.

A good if not hard win! Nice to see the new lads doing so well!!! COYB! O, and we are 3 points from 3rd with a game in hand.

Great minds and all that....

Dear David Moyes,

Please start your best starting XI this week.

Sincerely,
Kay

**************

Didn't have time to post this weekend, but stoked for the three points. You can add me to those who were pleased at the backline's performance (Hibbo's crosses!), Rodwell's performance (confidence!), Osman and Cahill. Howard had nothing really to do.

I would like to see Drenthe START. He's looked good the last two games, and we should see what he gets us. Vellios took a good goal, but his ignoring a wide open Osman was icky. Though he had his head down, I'll give him that (just looked like he didn't notice). Not sold on him yet, but he's scoring, so maybe he should start...

I was less impressed with Fellaini and Coleman. Don't want to toss them out mind you. I think Seamus needs to ease his way back in - kid had a bad injury, and he probably just needs his sea legs underneath him. Going to chalk it up to an anomaly.

Fellaini and an okay to good game, but count me among those that didn't like his attitude towards the end. He made a few lazy passes at the very end that seemed to demonstrate that he couldn't give a flying *bleep*. He covered a ton of ground, maybe he was tired, but everyone is dude. You play until the whistle blows. I hope he was just pooped, and this isn't something festering.

Bily was just okay - not the worst player on the pitch (which was surprisingly Seamus - but again, think that's random).

Three points, onwards and upwards.

I finally had a chance to watch the match as I've been working alot.

Nothing in the match that I seen suprised me. I know the footie didn't look all that well in the attacking end however Wigan always mucks it up pretty effectively against us as their game plan has always been sit back and wait for the inevitable double from Paul Scharner to kill us. So thank god Scharner isn't playing for them anymore. We consistently get 3 pts against the Blackburns and Wigans of the prem and money or no money we'll be fine this season.

Billy when not getting space outside the box is pretty useless, he's Faddy, talented just not a prem player. Drenthe is starting next week at his position.

Fellani again not very good. Same old story with him. Not good against the bottom half, great against the top 4.

I think Osman is my favorite player now.
