It was a decent performance and Everton did well not to be intimidated when Oldham started getting overly physical in the second half. That yard dog striker's 'challenge' on Howard towards the end was awful.

I do wonder why Moyes doesn't employ a very small amount of rotation with the team. Hitzlsperger isn't anything special but he's capable of stepping in for Osman or Gibson against vastly inferior opposition. Also, I can't believe it's 2013 and I'm still watching Captain Redondo take ten seconds to receive the ball, steady himself and look up. I hate him so much.

Coleman was very good again. His move to right-back has been one of the highlights of the season for me.

Just been on their forums.

They really are some of the worst fans on there, so big-headed it's untrue.
They think the ref ruined the game, the penalty was the big talking point, felt that they were cheated.
But there was so much man-handling from them, all game, and I don't agree it was a penalty either.

Fair play to their team for trying to put us under pressure but the fans on their forum are a joke.

their fans were getting amused by anything small time, i.e. when mirallas couldn't keep a ball in play. if it weren't for the ref being on their side it could have been 5-1.

They're just small club bitter fans mate, i would really worry about what they had to say about us. there was probably something along the lines of "how **** are everton fans, didn't sing all game" on there as well, overlooking the fact we play the best teams in england week in week out, so excuse us for not getting all excited for beating a league 1 team at home

True mate, whenever we play a side I go on their forums to see what they think of us, the game etc.
The Cheltenham fans were gents and so were the Norwich fans last week, but these guys were something else.

If they didn't have their grock for their FA cup games Liverpool would of smashed them, maybe even Forest the round before that.

I wanna see Vellios, Barkley, Stones, Duffy, Hitzlsperger, and more of oviedo at some point this season. I know it sounds like a lot to ask for be some key pieces of this squad needs some rest.
