Weird how we chased Dibling for so long. He obviously doesn't have the mettle.
more added time was added for stoppages in play in the 8 mins initially added than the other ref gave for an entire half in the derby. Wonder if 3 minutes has been added at the end of any other game this season.
He did. He told his players 5 more mins, but I don’t think it was on 98 maybe 96, so essentially the ref thought only 1 min of play had been had by 96well didn’t the ref say 5 to glasner on the 8th minute in?
my uncle reckons he seen him gesture it
Just wait until the European toll really starts to weigh on other teams. It augers well for us.It took us till after matchday 12 last season to get to 11 points. (We were on 5 points after matchday 7).
Definitely going in the right direction!
Don’t worry You will be happy soon, I’m sure we will get beat again soon for you.On here the right man was picked in my opinion—he changed the game for Everton playing in his proper position.
Yes he put the fire out unfortunately he started the bleedin’ fire!
The manager signalled 5 mins on the 97th minute and there goalie signalled 4 mins on the 98th, both of them were spot on so not sure where they got the info from.He did. He told his players 5 more mins, but I don’t think it was on 98 maybe 96, so essentially the ref thought only 1 min of play had been had by 96
Feels like it could be a curse…Just wait until the European toll really starts to weigh on other teams. It augurs well for us.
great stuffTook the father in law today on one of our STs. (He’s a red sorry)…. But he wanted to go the new ground with my lad (8) and of course his grandson.
Think he even got emotional when my boy was crying with that Grealish winner.
God I so hope we can go and win something for us but especially this new generation with this new era.
Ab bold line up! With Dewsbury Hall missing Charly was the obvious replacement, Barry deserves mores games but was having a poor game and unfortunately Dibling showed he’s not ready yet and had to come off, those two players, I, imagine were the ones most fans wanted to come off, Beto, Moyes being Moyes, was always going to be one replacement and Charly should have been on from the start. I’m more than happy with the win and hopefully Moyes has learned something about giving more players game time in the future because it is no longer 11 versus 11 it’s a game of 16 a side now and more players have got to be kept active.Without Dibling and Barry he just would have been accused of not playing the youngsters .
It was a bold line up in the first place and he adapted when it didn't work.
Didn’t you read the above post chippy ?Don’t worry You will be happy soon, I’m sure we will get beat again soon for you.
Sat on the fence with this lad just yet. Think he's lost in what, where and how he's supposed to play at this club. He looks confused when on the ball.Weird how we chased Dibling for so long. He obviously doesn't have the mettle.
It just feels like he is doing the same as he did when here first time around. I guess he will always be remembered as a manager who never took major risks, kept it safeNot really. He did similar at West Ham and Sunderland at times. Granted, it didn’t really work very well at Sunderland, but it did often turn games for WHU.
There is truth in the idea he can be too slow to makes substitution, no bones about it. But he certainly can and does, at least this version of Moyes.
It comes down to coaching received wisdom too. Often not making changes and letting the players try and work their way out of a problem is better than trying to overly micromanage.
There was a game in the women’s U.S. Open (Osaka semi) where neither player seemed capable of making a decision on their own. Eventually the American girl started playing better, but you see the dangers of too much interference in many sports now.
Like in F1 - most drivers now are totally incapable of calling a tyre change on the fly. Vettel and Alonso were able to, but most couldn’t. No doubt Verstappen has a similar ability.
Maybe, but there were plenty of games he lost at West Ham by chasing a win rather than accepting a point. It all comes down to risk-reward and how the team is looking on a given day.It just feels like he is doing the same as he did when here first time around. I guess he will always be remembered as a manager who never took major risks, kept it safe
