Watching this Sunderland/Arsenal game. Le Bris sees the tide changing and his rings out the changes. Switches the whole front three. Sometimes it's just an energy thing to freshen things up. Wish Moyes employed this reasoning sometimes.

Much better balance about the side today, Dewsbury Hall was played deeper and looked far more effective, Garner pushing forward from full back allowed us to play a 4-3-2-1 and, especially after Rohl came on we looked far stronger in midfield. I went with Dewsbury Hall for MOTM, but, Barry was very good for the 80 minutes or so that he played.

Best 90 minutes for ages. Barry was so much better than previous, I think he was only changed because of tired legs. I gave motm to Barry, because of the upsurge in performance.

More balance with Garner as RB, seems harsh on JOB, but Garner was a good outlet all game.

Grealish was kicked to hell and got little protection, ref was generally poor.

In no position to see if goals were offside.

He did. He overlapped NDiaye on multiple occasions which meant he couldn't be doubled up on. He also hit in several dangerous crosses. He got ran past a couple of times but so does JOB. The quality of his passing and link up play is just better as you would have expect from a midfielder as opposed to a 6'5 centre half. He's definitely the way forward at right back.

That was their fifth away loss on the bounce.

The results against Villa, Palace, Spurs, and Sunderland are better indicators of our progress. I’d say only the Palace game was a real success out of those.
