Lots of good performances out there today, you could justify 3 or 4 lads for motm, I went with Garner, playing out of position up against Brightons best player, in a back 4 that kept a clean sheet and hit a cracking goal.

A good day out and a fine result. Really wanted that third goal so I could attempt to relax for the remainder of the game. Very impressed with the stadium, and the train to/from Sandhills worked out fine.

We've got some great characters in our team - Jordan, Tarky, Jack, Beto, Illy and Gana. Loved the way KDH roused our blue wall in the 2nd half as well.
We all know how important our noise is to the team.

I hate it but yeah he has, clean and tidy. I hope he can continue it.

I thought Barry was good, looked like a more cultured version of beto with a bit of hold up which is basically what we need.

I liked the way he won a fair few headers on long balls that defenders invariably win. Once he gets used to playing with the other lads and vice versa, could be a source of goal chances.

What a day, magnificent stadium, found my stone in Everton Way, good performance, pretty much all round. My player of the match was Tim Iroegbunam, but understand shouts for any player today.

Pickford as solid as ever.
