First hour was competent without being amazing and should've been good enough to win the game.

Last half hour dismal and not much better than the general standard for much of the last four years.

This squad still has a long way to go really. Not enough goals in it and a big problem when Grealish and Ndiaye are on the fringes of the game. Dewsbury-Hall suspended for Palace not good either with what they have in midfield.

Also a concern how patience eroded from the stands as that second half went on. Big shiny new stadium means less patience from the stands with seconds halves like this.

Said it last week, essentially the same team apart from 2/3 as last few seasons plus age in the legs of Gana, Tarks and a few others so it’s not surprising we don’t turn into peak Barca just because we’ve moved stadiums.

Scrapping for points to not be sucked into the scrap by Christmas is the aim, then get reinforcements in especially up top.

This striker and fullback situation is not acceptable.

Goals are a problem, we still don't create many chances, despite having what we think is a good front 3.

I can see why Beto plays ahead of Barry, he's poor to but he's at least involved, I didn't notice Barry was even on the pitch, his reading of the game must be off he's never near or involved in much play

I wonder is Barry hiding ? Confidence ? I'm not sure.

We aint as good as some think we are . At least 5 starters tonight are very very average players.

Anyone who thinks we’re anything more than a lower midtable side doesn’t have a realistic view of where we are.

In recent years, we’ve been generationally bad, narrowly avoiding relegation.

Luckily, the Premier League is woeful outside a handful of sides, and one or two patches of good form could secure a top 10 finish, even if we generally suck for the majority of the season.

Some really poor individual performances. O’Brien looked really exposed, they just funnelled all their attacks down their left hand side and he couldn’t deal with Summerville.
Beto was woeful. He’s had some poor games but tonight was possibly the worst of the lot. Didn’t press well, didn’t control the ball, misplaced passes.
Just generally sloppy as well. Lots of loose passes and missed tackles.

Let's face it: we are not getting any better until we have an actual striker in front.

Loved beto in the second half of the last season, but now it seems that he has confidence issues again, he can't do anything right and he's just not reliable enough to play in the prem.
We just need to scramble as many points as we can until january and then hope for a good transfer window.
