The lineup is fine. There needs to be a real plan for how to use substitutes. In a 5 sub world that matters and you have to sub. It’s not optional.

It's the classic Everton injury. A setback or a knock is 2-3 weeks for other clubs, it's 2-3 months for us.

….its a repeated hamstring, look how long Saka was out for Arsenal. Other clubs take exactly the same precautions with hamstrings, Everton is not unique in that respect.

Yeah I’ve been harping on to anyone that’ll listen, that I think Beto needs the chip on his shoulder of sitting a few games out, to start firing again. I’d like to have seen us commit to giving Barry 5 or so on the spin, but realistically it was never gonna happen with Moyes.

Beto has got it in him, though; we’ve seen it before. Everything crossed it’s a good night for him.
