Wouldent say he was atrocious just offered nothing to the team going forward or defending

Saha also needs dropping another player going throught the motions

Saha was woeful, he barely ran!!

Neville barely does anything like. We shouldn't have a midfielder on the pitch IMO that offers absolutely nothing going forward, especially as he's not even the best defender in the world either.

I just hope Anichebe doesn't get a free run when he returns in the side on Drenthe's expense or even Landon's for that matter. You never know with the tactical ingeniousness of Moyes.

I mentioned it but I wanna drive it further: Saha was awful, he has either lost his legs or had no desire to get the ball. The crowd were getting on his back and rightly so. Yesterday anyone else up top would've been better eg Vellios or Mceleny because they at least try their hearts out.

They were two average at best sides that came to Goodison in the space of 4 days and I must say 4 points is a minimum tally we should be looking to get from these type of games .

It was another tight affair , we didnt exactly create chance after chance , when do we , but we got the points so happy days .

These 2 away games will be much harder , it would be great to get another 4 points from them , and get something resembling a bit of form going .

So at xmas wer 7pts off 7th and a potential europa league spot , and 6pts above the dreaded drop zone , real middle of the road stuff , could do better , lets hope we do .

8th nailed on....

The Everton manager was also pleased with the performance of Royston Drenthe who set up Osman's goal for the second game in a row.

"I thought Roy did quite well tonight," continued Moyes. "There was some great play and there were some bits which were not quite so great.

"I think when you have a player like Roy you have to accept that.

"The home games will suit him at times more than some of the away games. I thought tonight he helped us and did a good job."

Why does he not seem to rate him that much? :confused3:
