Match Thread Everton 0-3 Spurs . Sun Oct 26th. 4.30

It is offside by the letter of the law but we all know goals like that get given every week unless you're Everton. Matches and VAR decisions like this consistently going against us are completely taking the enjoyment out of the game for me.
They’ve created too much ambiguity in the rules. They should go back to the offside law we all grew up with.

All you get now is players pushing at the margins and then you end up with inconsistent decisions.

It was past Vicario before he could react to it, Ili was and should have been a non factor
This is one of the many reasons I hate VAR. there’s never any consideration given to the reality of where the ball is. They review every goal with a default position of looking for reasons to rule it out. Were our players offside? 100%. Would them not being there have meant the keeper would have had a chance? No. Replace them with 2 more keepers and it still goes in.

Same as when an attacker knocks it too far away for them to retrieve and then goes over the keeper/defender and gets a pen.

I’m sorry but we all said we needed a striker who could lead the line and score goals.

Someone paid £30m for Barry and £20m for Beto who can’t do neither.

Heads should roll.
