Ever on Time for Work?

What business is this?

I own seven businesses, one is management consultancy & the other six are manufacturing. I've got a good management team actually running the manufacturing businesses day-to-day while I concentrate on the consultancy business.

I'm doing a PhD at evenings & weekends to keep busy!

I work with a fella he started at 9 for a year always late so they shifted his start time to 10:30 always late, he works from home 1 week a month starting at 1, always late.

You know what lads i think his hearts not in it.

I actually come in early but never do anything. In fact, I don't do nothing 9-4.

Being on 2.64 P/H apprenticeship sucks.

Can start between 7.30 and 10 so I've only ever been late once in 5 years and that was by about 5 mins. Ahhhh flexi time you rock!

Stop feeling sorry for yourself & find something more rewarding to do. If you are doing nothing then you are learning nothing, what is the point of this 'apprenticeship'?

I've applied for loads of jobs, had interviews just waiting for the to get back to me mate.
As you can see, there is nothing really out there, everyone is just offering apprenticeships.

I'm not feeling sorry for myself

There is work out there, lots of my employees move on to better jobs. They get the reference they deserve!

Latest we can start work is 10:00, but I usually get there for about 09:30.

Leaving before 18:00 is frowned upon no matter when you start, and there are a good for jobsworths in the firm who keep an eye on people coming and going (sad bastards), so there's not really any incentive to start earlier than I do other than to brown nose the bosses with your overtime which isn't paid for.

I have managed to oversleep a few times like and roll in about 10:30, but only about three times in two years.
