Just back from the match and pub and am just drinking an ice cold bottle of becks to add to the many already consumed throughout the course of the day

****ing hell I didnt see that coming 8-2 watched the match from the Stretford end so 5 of our goals were scored at the scoreboard end.

Were we that good or where Arsenal just bobbins?

I just love watching these kids play its brilliant seriously

Mate I knew before the game that your lot would smash the gooner's.. By smash I mean 3-0 4-1 maybe, not 8-2.

Arsenal are in shambles but you can't take away from the pure class showed from your boys today..

Scary to see the youth in that UTD side play that well.. Smalling looks real good at right-full back as well.

One of the best games I've ever seen as a neutral. 2 pens, 10 goals, a red and some scintillating football. Plus seeing Arsenal on that end of a thrashing was a refreshing sight.

However they were indeed weakened and very poor. But you have to be poor to be thrashed like that and United were every bit as good as they were bad.

Ashley Young, as much as I hate him, is just a sensational talent. And how about that for Rooney, scoring 2 free kicks!?

Well Barca 5-0 Real comes to mind. I'm sure it will happen again but I don't remember anything beyond a 3 nil between two top teams here in England.

I did some digging and yes they did.

But that was back 10 years ago -- in 2001! I was 8 then and not really into football outside of Everton and internationals, so I wasn't awre.
