I went to the United Galataseray match and I thought United were appalling. They had a lot of possession as you'd expect at OT but they were very very very lucky not to have drawn and maybe even lost that match.

And that's without mentioning the nailed on pen Galataseray should have had in the first 30 seconds. Right in front of me. Was absolutely ridiculous not to give it. Even the United fans went silent and I had to stop myself from getting up and screaming at the ref.

Is there a whinier, pettier man in football than SAF? Respect an all for what he's accomplished but when they lose it's never a case of we've been outplayed, there's always some fabricated excuse. He's got to be the sorest loser I've ever seen. Not used to it I guess.

Its his shtick and he's done it so much that I don't think anyone bothers with it anymore. He praises the hell out of us (and/or others) when we lose to them. On the other hand he always has an excuse when his side is beaten. I'd rather hear him dismissing us as pretenders everyday of the week because if he's ****ging Everton off then I know we are doing something right.
