Last time me and my missus were down we stayed in the Printworks Hotel just along from the Adelphi. Pretty reasonable, though you had to pay extra for breakfast and about a 15 minute walk to Mathew St.

Stayed at Lord Nelson Hotel. It was a dump (no TV, no shower, just a tub], but it was dirt cheap and the breakfast was good in the AM free too I think.

Evening Toffees

Finally got a Hotel called the Liner double room 115 for the night near Lime St Station

Looks top recommended by one of my Scouse mates

Its sound in there Nev. Our company (Merseyrail) does loads of courses and that in there and can recommend the scran. Only a 10 minute walk to Mathew Street and a boss little scruffy boozer down the road (Ma Edgy's). And no need to drive as you're right next to Lime St.

Enjoy kid.

Mathew St was top and the Cavern Beatles were on until about 0200am

Cracking Hotel our room was actually overlooking Lime St station ( couldn't hear the trains though as we were leathered)
