I disagree to be fair, I think the system we play at the moment is great and suits the players, allows them to interchange at will and fill in for eachother across the whole of midfield. Allows us to control midfield with the additional man in there, and push extra players forward when we are in possession.

Don't change a winning formula in which we are playing great football.

NO BoDY PlAYS 4-4-2

FFS!! It's not 1995 anymore

Where are people getting this from?

Seen this being said so many times on here.

Teams clearly do still play 4-4-2. Newcastle played 4-4-2 today... oh look they won as well. It's a classic formation and is not "obsolete" at all. Maybe it's not as popular today but it's still used.

Not having a go, just does my head in when I see people say this.

Having said this I agree with Artetafan anyway, our current formation is good.

So Newcastle, in the entire football world uses 4-4-2, name me 1 good team that plays it.

Both Man United and Man City played it on numerous occasions last season.

Because they had the players for it. Rooney occupies a similar area of the pitch to Fellaini.

All formations should primarily fit the players you have. Moyes has been guilty of crowbaring players who suit other formations into the 4-5-1 before but right now we actually suit a 4-5-1.
