im picking haye for this, reckon he has too much class.

he also has a distinct weight advantage.

ditto, if I was a betting man the smart money has to be on haye. although the longer the match goes on the more I'd favour Maccarinelli.

really, i think haye has the reach, he also has the pedigree. haye has been in with some fighters in his career, macarinelli im struggling to think of one name hes taken on.

they might well both be the best in their weight division in the world, im not sure if thats a tale of them or how poor some of the world weight levels are.

side note, whats happened to clinton woods? there are a few boxers gone off the radar recently.

not sure i thought he was due to fight soon?
British championship boxing is excellent at the moment there is some really talented boxes around.

there is a young midleweight from st helens called martin murrey he has had 3 fights 3 wins and his next fight is at everton sports centre next month. he is also an ex ABA champ. i tip him for at least a british title.

like most of those who fall out with the big fixers and match makers, he has been left in the wilderness. I have noticed of late a few of our lesser lights are appearing regularly in Germany

Evander used to live in my apartment complex while I was in college during the late 80's when he'd come down to Houston to train.

Friend of mine played water volleyball with him a few times and I'd see him around every so often.

Nice guy back then.

And good point Chico about the 80's and the sport of boxing. That was really the only time I'd watch boxing. The heavyweights.

his excuse about HGH was a cracker.

he bought it for his dad and sent it to him, which is why it had his (evanders) name on it and why it was billed to him.
