Yeh think he was basically saying we tried but realised we couldnāt compete for him lolDavy talking about PSR, this thread can now be deleted![]()
Well we don't have the wriggle room of Chelsea who don't have to abide by psr.Davy talking about PSR, this thread can now be deleted![]()
He's another crock - Chelsea in for him now - I was watching a game & Ferguson came on & the local commentator reckoned he was 2 yards slower since his injuries & he has not played since or Brighton - not even on the bench last Saturday when we played them .....Yeh think he was basically saying we tried but realised we couldnāt compete for him lol
It was never on.It's over. That press conference ...sheesh!
I half hoped that these Texans were the real deal.It was never on.
The Douglas fella is a blag merchant.

We won't see any of the extra income until we're in the stadium. After that press conference from moyes, it is quite clear that we are not in for ferguson. Loan is just not possible, and buying the players is not an option because of psr. Clearly the club is not looking at options to try improve our psr position (like a chelsea would do for example) other than what is the situation today which we all know is bad. I would have thought that having the new stadium ready to go that it would somehow free up some money this season either through sponsorship or intercompany moves...for me clearly TFG don't want to spend and using psr as an excuse but what do I know..

That'll teach me to soften.
Fergusons father was an ex pro
If he's advising him and let's him go to Chelsea to become a squad player then it's very foolish. He needs to go somewhere and be the starting number 9 and see how it goes .
Just to clear this up. His dad was a good league of ireland player in his day but none of those players were pros. Having seen his Dad play many times I would be amazed if Evan Ferguson has a poor attitude. His Dad was ankle deep in mud running around in a Longford Town jersey for years. You don't do that and then raise a young fella with a bad attitude towards the game/life. He is currently a development officer for the FAI, those lads try and knock bad attitudes on the head early so I just can't see how his own kid would be allowed to have one tbhSaw that his father is the one wanting and advising him to leave Brighton in order to play again. Not sure how accurate that is but the lads saying that on the Brighton forum seem to know their stuff around the club.
Didn't know he was an ex pro but makes sense more now
