Stoke beat some Swiss team earlier, Fulham are winning their game 2-0, Birmingham are drawing 0-0 to Nacional and Spurs are beating Hearts 3-0 at HT.

The Spurs game is a good watch. Spuds are playing excellent footie. Kranjcar looks absolutely class and I'm going to cry if he goes to Sunderland.

Hearts are woeful though, a division 1 team would give Spurs a better game than this.

They are but almost every team you're likely to face at this stage are too.

And yeah, 5-0 now. Spurs have played some gorgeous footie throughout. Hearts on the other hand have made quite a few snide challenges.

Didn't realise Spurs are so depleted at the moment, probably wouldn't of minded playing this lineup last weekend.

This has been like watching your mates play fifa for the majority though. Is it Templeton on the wing or something? He's looked alright in glimpses.

Moysie should sign the 21 year old Teemu Pukki from HJK since he's had like a couple of decent games this year against decent opposition or smth. Did two boss goals last night against Schalke, like.

The reigning champions Porto's striker Hulk continued his habit of smashing in goals tonight in a 3-1 league win. He's scored two so far, 70mins played against Gil Vincente.

With the current team we have, if we had him we'd be so boss.

All four English clubs (including second tier birmingham) made the group stages as did Shamrock Rovers from Ireland who beat Partizan Belgrade in possibly the shock of the round.

None of the scots made it through. Something needs to be done about scottish football, it's just dying. Twenty, thirty years ago the best scots teams were a match for the best of any league and now they're league one level. Another victim of sky football and it's just not good for the game.

Go Shamrock!

As for the Scottish teams, Hearts were unlucky to get Spurs but Celtic and Rangers bombed out badly.
