Looking at the rules, we'd have to finish in 5th to get a spot? Is that correct?

1. Birmingham has the League Cup spot.
2. Stoke vs. Bolton guarantees a Europa spot to the FA Cup winner or runner up.
3. No idea about the Fair Play spot, too new to this to have much knowledge/understanding of what that even means.

Also, watching the game on TV, looked to me like Beckford was still running around pretty good 2nd half. Anyone know exactly what Moyes wanted him to do that he wasn't doing?

Yep. 5th.

As for Beckford...we were 3 up with 20minutes left. Give the kids a run out.

Oh I agree as far as bringing the new kids on, not questioning why Beckford was subbed, just wondering why Moyes jumped his ass about his work rate in the 2nd half.

Only just read that.

But that's Moyes. Beckford should've just took it on the chin. He played well.

We really really don't need Europe next year. We don't want a congested fixture list compromising our fight to retain our Premier League status next year.

Nah its not a good point at all.

Nobodies from Belarus we cna just scrape past, its the half somebodies from Italy and Portugal and Belgium we'll lose to.

Benfica spanked PSV in the week. They're a class side. We haven't got the strength in depth to cope with Europe. We've only just got enough players for the Premier League! If we finish 6th (ahead of the RS) it's been a pretty decent season. We're 9 points behind Spurs. Here's their run in:

Arsenal (h)
West Brom (h)
Chelsea (a)
Blackpool (h)
City (a)
Liverpool (a)
Birmingham (h)

It's quite tough. All teams with plenty still to play for. Ours is:

Blackburn (h)
United (a)
Wigan (a)
City (h)
West Brom (a)
Chelsea (h)

United traditionally beat us at Old Trafford, but we can get something out of all the other games.
