as in last year i would like to draw a Dublin based team who would switch the game to croke park.
so come on st pats, do that valetta lot or keflavic and give us a great away trip.
 

We'll get a team that enters when we do, and they'll be the best in the competition at that stage (apart from us) but I think we have the european experience now to see us through(y)
 
I'm not even arsed where, i'm going. Got me notes saved up and all that, so not arsed. Give me somewhere thats cheap though or has a beach like Famagusta.

Wouldn't that be a shocker if we get the toughest team again...!

Agreed, we have a bit more experience now.

However, had we had a run last season I don't think we would have finished fifth or got to the cup final with our bare bones of a squad.
 

When we got Nurnberg in 07-08, I was one of the few on this site who remembered the first meeting of the two sides.

So I'll bet that we get Aalborg this time - shades of 1967...
 
Or Keflavik - shades of 1970 European Cup, when we beat them on the way to the semis.
 
Won't get Aalborg.. they will also be seeded if they get to the fourth round.

Not counting in those from the CL-knockout, the teams I fear might give us the most problems are:

Genoa, Hapoel Tel-Aviv, Red Star Belgrade, Trabzonspor & Genk.
 

I honestly don't mind that much, but I hope it's somewhere I've never been before. There are appeals to most places (UK: easy to get to meaning the place will be overrun with blues; somewhere sunny: erm, it's sunny; some random place which is a bitch to get to: all adds to the experience, I missed Ukraine & it sounds absolutely great, want to feel it for myself). I just hope whoever we get we absolutely leather & then get the chance to go on a load more trips
