1 Should we win we will be seeded for Round 4.

2. Should we progress to the Group Stages we are presently projected for 24th (of 48) place - putting us last in Pot 2. With 18 teams ranked above us also needing to qualify and also 8 teams ranked above us seeded to qualify for the CL group stages (Olympiakos, Celtic, Kopenhavn, Sevilla, Napoli, Liverpool, CSKA Moscow and Sporting Lisbon) we could yet drop into Pot 3 - but that would need more of the 8 CL Qualifying teams mentioned above losing (and dropping into Europa Group Stages) pushing us down the ranking list than those from the 18 competing with us, see below, losing in Europa QRs 3 (or 4) lifting us up the ranking list.

'Not quite'! I can see us losing tonight let alone playing another one of these unknown Eastern European sides in the next round.

We should have more than enough to get to the later rounds of the knockout stages of this competition. But this is Everton and I am genuinely concerned about complacency tonight from our players and also by the performance they put in last week.

Group Stage Situation - Everton would be ranked 20th of 48 (well within Pot 2) would rise according to qualifiers above failing (but unlike to be as many as 9) or fall into Pot 3 if five or more of the following eight seeds lose in the CL QR 4 (Olympiakos, Celtic, Kopenhavn, Sevilla, Napoli, Liverpool, CSKA Moscow and Sporting Lisbon) and assumes that no higher ranked team in the EQ4 also fails.
