It is A host country.
As are others.
Suck it up Dave, spend your time wisely getting yourself positioned for your backing of the Spanish fella during what will be an interesting season ahead
Host cities. No host countries. That's the format.

London is THE most used location though, which makes a mockery of the claims for the tournamant.

Let's be honest: this has been a dog's breakfast of a tournamant. Having two countries travel thousands of miles to Baku for a QF in 37 degrees.

It's an utter shambles with the added twist that one country's national team have enjoyed a massive advantage that no other team has had.

No one cares, Dave. Like honestly no one.

Pickford has been excellent, with big saves against Scotland and Germany when they needed to be made.

England, as expected, brushed aside that pub team last night. I said it was an effective bye to the semis, and so it proved, with England doing what all good sides do: swiftly brush aside inferior opposition.

As an Irishman, it pains me to say it but England are playing well and doing everything required of them. They have all the advantages in this tournament, but all they can do is maximise those, and they have so far. Denmark will be a very dangerous opponent now. Yes, if England play well they should get through, but the Danes are well capable of winning this - unlike Ukraine. Nevertheless, my feeling is that this is as good a set of circumstances England could ever have hoped for. Home matches at Wembley against a second tier European nation and a potential final against a top tier nation that is not at the top of its curve. It's definitely there to be won.
They'll blow it; they ALWAYS blow it.

The expectations will be ramped up and the players will crack the first setback they have to face.

Nothing surer.

You know why it was multi country right Dave?

Also Wembley only got one additional game because Dublin had to drop out of hosting, if I remember right I think they were meant to have hosted what ended up being England v Germany. Russia got an additional 3 for the same reason despite them only hosting an entire World Cup 3 years ago

Some bollocks about a 60th birthday celebration.

So what? It ended in an uneven event which has basically handed us a host nation in any case.
