Be ruthless, Everton.

The board won’t sack him

Why? Compensation

No only that but the club are happy to just collect the premier league money. They won’t risk 4th or title challenges because it’s easier and cheaper to just be steady in the league and collect the money. As long as Ronald keeps us around mid table he stays
I doubt any of that is true. He needs to win 1 of the next 2 cup games, I reckon.

The appointment of koeman itself, I mean he's a name and all that, but so is roy keane, and I'm sure the reaction would not be positive if we pursued him, the fact that mosh was so erect for him when names like jose, favre and emery were being thrown about is weird, and kenwright and his strangely tanned friend still being there means we reek of 7th place trophy contenders

Biggest disappointment for me was not getting Monchi. Quite probably the best Director of Football for more than a decade vs someone who hasn't been a DoF before and is hyped up because of a single season, even if it was brilliant.

We are good with names .... Mata, Costa, Giroud, Witsel, Koulibaly, Dembele ............

He's gone, it's just a matter of time now and how embarrassing our results come. Why sack him now? Because it's the right thing to do. He's had time to turn it round and he can't.

We're awful on the pitch, clueless, leaderless and Have become simply just a poor side. He is the manager, he picks the team, he motivates them, he chooses the tactics. It's become one horror show after another; he's had enough time and money to change things but doggedly refuses to. Forget the player valuations, forget their wages, we are poor as a football team.

Koeman can't change that now; it's as bad as Walker, Smith Kendall MK 111, Martinez season 111. Just take do the inevitable and sack him, his brother and his caddy. It's only the latter that'd bother him.

Aye, bringing in the PE teacher hasn't been all that fruitful, Kante was obviously a great find, mahrez clicked and Vardy (the horrible rat) had his marcus stewart season, walsh doesn't seem to have a definitive strategy, i'm not sure him and koeman are on the same page in what they want to achieve

To think we went from nearly beating city away, to looking like relegation fodder against Brighton and Burnley. Its quite staggering how quickly this team has gone to pot. We are still without 3 first team players but we genuinely look awful.
We were totally pants in all the europa games, stoke and then the city game we got pretty lucky in my eyes.

Been saying it the whole time, we've been pure crap - the only thing that has changed is the excuse.

For the first time in my lifetime I am embarassed of this club.

This isn't a koeman related point although it's certainly a make up of it. No, the reason that embarassed me so much in the current state we are in is just where we have got to.

We have an owner who deems a loss acceptable and happy to throw support behind a manager through a joke of a mouthpiece despite the fact with so much spent on this team, we are a laughing stock right now. Such a high investment should demand more than this, the fact no-one at the club looks arsed is worrying.

We have a team devoid of any passion or leadership, no-one cares anymore and it's been this way for a long time, under Martinez and moyes. Walking off the pitch in the semi final against Liverpool, the whole fan base was sick to our stomachs, did anyone at the club really show any concern to how we lost? We have no fight , no passion, where's the reactions to getting beat? When was the last time we genuinely had a reaction?

Our transfer policy is a complete joke. I thought Liverpool was bad after selling Suarez, or qpr with their mercenaries but we have spectacularly topped that. The players we bought were talented but who in the right mind buys the same position 4 times? 4 times! We signed one and then just kept going! What sort of transfer committee doesn't notice what types of players they are signing? In fact, what sort of transfer committee fails to sign a striker 2 years in a row? That is embarrassing in itself, and again nobody cares at the club. Managers have walked for less, we have done it twice, and sold a 25 goal a season striker in the process.

This all sounds like a rant at the club but it really isn't. I'm sick of feeling so negative about the club that like thousands of others like me, invest so much of our lives into. Take the mick all you want but how much of what I say is wrong? It's incredible that as a fan for all my life that my emotion isn't against the team, it's against the club. How can we get excited for a transfer window anymore knowing no-one at the club can actually do business? What's the point in caring about the defeat when the owner or manager don't? It's just at the point for me that the club has forgotten it's identity in this modern age and has just adopted this mediocre identity beyond the nil satis that took us to so many trophies.

For once I just want the club to just want better than we have. Us fans who pay out money and care far too much deserve it, but if the biggest Evertonian in the world in charge doesn't bring that then an owner with no personal interest in the club won't neither

My main worry is we might be dumb enough to go for Unsworth, which would not only ruin the great work he is doing now but put us in a unstable postion with a inexperienced manger while we flirt with the relegarion zone
